Been sick since Friday, but symptoms are super mild. Almost like allergies.
Took a home Covid test and tested positive. Are these tests very accurate?

R.I.P
No. They don’t give false positives.
But they can give false negatives.
Sometimes they can’t detect the virus even if you have it.
But only Covid 19 will produce that positive line.
Boom!
Guess I got it then.

Here is a link to the early treatment protocols recommended by the FLCCC. The Omicron BA.4/BA.5 variant protocol is a little different. It's on page 4 of the embedded pdf document in the page. You'll need to either click on the arrows in the top left of the PDF window to see all four pages or you'll need to download the PDF with the link on the lower right of the PDF. There are instructions somewhere on how to make the 1% povidone iodine nasal spray. You don't want to use it full strength out of the bottle. Basically, it kills the virus in the nose and nasal cavities so you're less likely to spread covid to anyone else.
BTW, mild symptoms do NOT mean that you won't have long term effects. Treat it. Don't ignore it.
Yes…. I mean no.
The home tests are all crap…..
Hope you feel better real soon:)
Yes. They are wrong 100% of the time.
More likely to have a false negative than a false positive. You probably have COVID. COVID is behaving much like any other common coronavirus infection you have had in your life at this point. Since most if not all have already had a prior exposure due to vaccination or infection or a combination, your body already has the blueprint to defeat it. Mild symptoms are normal now that you have had a prior exposure. It is no longer a novel virus.
This strain of covid is still something you don’t want to have and is highly contagious, so if you have it you have to be away from people for a week.
That’s pretty inconvenient.
If the test is positive, stay away from work, family abs friends.
I got it. First test negative, second positive. My throat is very, very sore and I can't swallow. I am out of town in rural Vermont and scrambled to get a Pax script. Lost all appetite and feel no drive eat. I am in a hotel room all week.
I did feel better when I forced some water down. Good luck.
NyQuil and DayQuil made a huge difference with the sore throat for me. The generic Kroger and Walmart knockoffs worked equally well.
Oops, I hit reply before finishing. About 20-40% of Paxlovid treatments result in rebound covid a few days after the first negative test. Try to avoid people until you're sure you're not infectious. The povidone Iodine 1% solution nasal rinse will help prevent you from spreading it by killing the virus in your nasal passages. You have to make it by diluting 10% povidone iodine with distilled water.
When I was exposed back in June and on the road, I went to Walmart and bought a 10% Povidone Iodine solution, a gallon of distilled water, and a cheap Equate nasal spray for $1.98. I emptied the nasal spray bottle and diluted the Povidone Iodine with 1 part povidone Iodine and 9 parts water and put it into the nasal spray bottle.
You can find the instructions for use online.
I have a very slight sore throat. Other than that, I feel decent. No change in appetite. Might go for a walk later.
