With the major marathon fields are (mostly) set, it's time to get excited for another busy fall of road racing. *MB: 26.2 fans, these are the storylines you want to pay attention to this fall according to Jonathan Gault
One more flash of brilliance from Bekele, but I’ll wait until he shows something at the Great North Run to get my hopes up.
Tola looked great and not bothered at all in Eugene. I’ll be shocked if he’s off the podium this Fall.
Is YY the next Kipchoge? I foresee 2:18 at her first London, with Kosgei breaking her late, but 2:15-low has been projected as well. I hope I’m wrong.
Mantz’s entry into Chicago surprised me a bit--I thought he’d shoot for the AR Half in Valencia. Whatever his result, peaking for World XC is job one, isn't it?

Is Azimeraw running London?
If you're suggesting she could podium and likely challenge for the win also, no argument here.

Unfortunately along with Tamirat Tola she has withdrawn. Happy to see Kengo Suzuki added to the field though after not being able to contest Worlds due to COVID.
