He is the Barry Bonds of the NFL. Not in a good way. He alienates the players. His teammates do not like him. He insist on things like a private office etc,. Seattle couldn't wait for him to go.
Without taking into consideration the salary cap hit Wilson has laid on the Broncos keeping them from signing top free agents, after the 2023 draft, in exchange for Wilson, the Seahawks have received:
Drew Lock, Noah Fant, Shelby Harris, Charles Cross, Boye Mafe, Tyreke Smith, Devon Witherspoon (pick #5 & #1 CB), and Derick Hall (pick #37).
This is going to be fun next season as Wilson is back to his 4000 yards/30TD self, another playoffs season.
No QB can compare with Wilson's first 10 seasons. His numbers cannot be bettered.
Don't be a fool over one season with a bad coach. Wilson one of the best QB's we have seen and that should be totally obvious.
The cat has how many NFL records and firsts? Going to have my fun with all you rookies, ha!
Look at what the guy did and he never had a great young TE or big time receivers.
Wilson left Wisconsin as the all time NCAA passing efficency leader for a season. As an NFL rookie he ties the TD record with 26 (Peyton). He would become the first QB to put up over 100 passer ratings his first two seasons. He is the best combo passer/runner the NFL has ever seen. Nine pro bowls first 10 seasons.

I need some real predictions here so I'll know who to pick on when Wilson starts looking like his old self and the rookies here look like themselves, know nothings.
He will start this 2022 season with 292 TD passes, that puts him in 15th place on the all time list, he needs 9 more to pass John Elway into 13th place, obviously that will happen early.
Wilson will probably bounce back this season with a better offensive system in place under Sean Payton. He might be around league average instead of terrible. But the Broncos didn't mortgage their future for average, and Wilson's days of being elite are done for good. It's clear that he's lost multiple steps athletically, meaning that he can't extend plays the way he used to, and his decision-making process is becoming more and more of a liability. Very few NFL teams have ever been as screwed as the Broncos are right now.

Gonna be fun, for Deno.
Was it fun for Deno when he looked like a fool even compared to the rookies when he talked up Wilson with the Broncos last season? Deno kept saying “I don’t know what is going on. Something is not right.”
It's clear that he's lost multiple steps athletically...
What a polite way to say, "He's porked out"!
As for the rest, I'm sorry but I have to agree.
I'd only add that how well Denver does depends on how successful the new coaches will be able at bringing Wilson back to reality. It's clear Wilson did not appreciate how much of his success in Seattle was due to the coaches. They put together a team and schemes that allowed him to capitalize on his true strengths. Like many elite athletes, Wilson didn't get it; he was sure the coaches were keeping him back. He was so delusional he forced this trade so he could show the world what would happen when Russ got to cook.
As it turned out, Russ can't cook -- he basically burned the Cheerios.
To get better next year, he's going to have to trim down and accept his limitations.
Last year, he got to loose the ego; this year, he's going to have to lose the ego.
