Oh please. Bobby Bell 6’4 and 230 running a 4.5. There were freakish athletes then too. You must be a fool if you think Warfield, Branch, Alworth etc couldn’t play now. Remember they would have modern training too.
I've met Eller, Page and Marshall. Eller, 6'6" & Page 6'4" would weight train like the men today. Paul Krause was the 2nd or 3rd string quarterback when they had only a 40 man roster. Bud Grant said Krause had the best hands on the team. Just think how many interceptions Krause would have in this era. The guys who played then who would get cut in five minutes today, the field goal kickers. Biggest change in football skill, field goal kickers. The other stars from 1960 & 1970s would have a chance.
I can see Jim Brown making it 6-2 230 works today. Bob Hayes has always been the fastest WR that won't change, Gale Sayers could play today, really can't see anyone else however. Talking pre 1970;
Mel Renfro was a fantastic athlete who was on a WR 440 team with Harry Jerome and jumped 26 feet. He could have played today.
The thing about Hayes that is different is there has never been a faster player who had a long career in the NFL and doubt there ever will be, That 10,06 on dirt .....wow!
Check out player highlights from Seattle Seahawks quarterback Russell Wilson against the Jacksonville Jaguars in Week 14 of the 2017 NFL Season.Have Your Say...
Just a terrible trade and contract for Denver. The Wilson trade forced them to trade edge rusher Bradley Chubb because they cannot afford to sign him (due to Wilson contract) and they need to replenish some draft capital after trading away so much in the Wilson trade. The Wilson trade and contract are a disaster. Sorry you don’t get it Deno.

If you can't figure out we don't know where this will go this early on, this might take a season. What about that don't you get?
Wilson played in the pro bowl in 2021 if not for that finger injury he has another Wilson stat season. So all of a sudden he just lost it or the move will take some time,, think guy.
At that pro bowl last season there was a QB precision passing contest, guess who won it?
Look at Geno Smith. all those seasons of sucking FINALLY having a good season, does this make him a great QB.......one season.
Geno has played .500 ball throughout his career, except for when he played for the Jets. The Jets were a trainwreck of a franchise, so I'm willing to give him a pass. Other .500 QBs, like Kirk Cousins, have made over $100 million to play .500 ball.

Geno has a 82 career passer rating, he has 46 TD's with 40 INT's, he has never been a pro bowler or won anything. So because he is FINALLY having ONE good season he becomes great, what??? Well that works both ways, Wilson has had one of the greatest careers ever, so one subpar season and he sucks? The move not being a factor ya think?
ONE MORE TIME
Wilson a pro bowler just a season ago despite missing time with a bad finger,
The Broncos have a stupid coach, no stud play makers, ya think that just might effect Wilson's game?
There is nothing in his game suggesting he has lost anything, I see keeping on with what he has been doing but will miss Lockett. Maybe losing a step at 38ish.
When will you admit you were wrong Deno? It ain’t that hard. You can do it. Why wait?
I remember my argument/debate over on that Chiefs forum about drafting CEH and not Jonathan Taylor, I didn't know what I was talking about, CEH is who they need. What happened there? This is no different, that move to Denver just isn't working it's not about Wilson being he was a pro bowler just a year ago it's about him not having any weapons or a legit head coach in Denver.
Wilson would be putting up better numbers than Geno if still in Seattle.
The guy goofed leaving the Seahawks that is all that is going on here. And it's very obvious.
