A runner of Yakob's caliber cant hope to get near 12:40 let alone break it. It takes more like a Cheptegei or a Kiplimo level talent to get close to or break records.

Aug 16 — Euros 5000m final

Aug 18 — Euros 1500m final

Aug 26 — Lausanne DL 1500m

Sep 2 — Brussels DL 5000m

Sep 8 — Zurich DL Final 1500m

This is how I see it going. Wouldn’t be surprised if he ran another 1500m at the Norwegian Champs like he’s done the last few years, too.

If you watch his 5000 meter post race interview, he was asked about his next race. He said "probably just Munich"
