Damnit. Now I am beginning to think that I have an inferior immune system.
Tested positive last Sunday. Like yours, mine felt like moderately bad flu. Worst symptom was a low-grade (99-100) fever that lasted 4 days. I’m 60, double vaxxed, double boosted. Wife has evaded infection so far. I’m currently debating when to resume workouts. This is day #2 of being symptom free.
Nope. I never got it.
I've never had it. No vax. No boosters. Only wore masks the past 2 years when absolutely forced to, like on an airplane or at the doctor. Went about my life like normal, other than being constantly pissed off at the sheep and stupidity in this world. Anger and hate...the best vax there is.
No Covid for Coevett.
Not me…
Still no for me.
I wish I had asked for people to list their ages in the starting post.
Well, LIST YOUR AGE IF YOU READ THIS.
I am 47. I wonder if many of you who have not yet been infected are under 40 and thus have a stronger immune system.
67 years old, never got it. My doctor thought I should have a COVID antigen test or something like that, results were negative.
Four of my friends are fully vaxxed and boosted came down with COVID.
My doctor never came down with it either despite being around her patients at the office and at the hospital.
No one knows why.
Still haven’t had it as far as I know. Triple vaxxed. Wife had it in December…tested myself a few times while she was sick. Never pulled the double line. Have flown 5 or 6 times in the past two years and spent time in several southern states where Covid mitigation protocols are pretty lax. Live life pretty much as normal. Guess I’m just elite at immunity.
Unvaccinated, age 61 years, 8 months when I was sick with Omicron in January. 2 days of mild flu-like symptoms followed by 10 days of a gradually clearing head cold.
I remain unvaccinated at age 62 years, 2 months, satisfied with the robust durable protection that comes with natural infection.
To follow up, I'm 45. Also had an antibody test 3-4 months ago during a routine physical, which was negative. My doctor recommended the vaccine. I laughed in her face and said no thanks. I routinely went everywhere that had mask mandates without a mask on and gave the workers glares of death daring them to say anything about it. If you want to live a normal life you just have to look really pissed off all the time and nobody will mess with you. Anger and hate.
