Sadly, I watched that breakaway pack and thought the same thing I always do: extraordinary economic incentive, exploitative enablers, enough talent, too wide a gap -> am I watching PEDs at work, yet again? The cynicism and resulting heartbreak at the core of my sport.
Never thought I'd see the day where she wins a global medal. Good for her.
With Pineda as her manager, how could she go wrong?

”Aside from Naser getting banned for 2 years today in order to avoid testing positive, several athletes now coached by Aden (and handled by Pineda) are being questioned by AIU after abnormal blood results. 4 of these young athletes came up with blood passport irregularities, specifically massive fluctuations in hematocrit, the worst offender is named GUDAF TSEGAY. The other 3 currently reportedly under investigation are Teddese Lemi, Lemlem Hailu, and Freweyni Hailu. Gudaf Tsegay had already been reported flying in and out of Addis Ababa the entire year, along with the others, all making trips to Spain. Genzebe Dibaba also reported a positive test for coronavirus so she could skip the Ethiopian trials, then caught a flight to Spain THE NEXT DAY. Hope she got her “vaccine” on that trip… Tsegay broke the 1500 world record indoor months ago in a massively suspicious personal best, and it is not secret that her coach is Jama Aden.“
Wake up, people.
You seem to have a great indsight in suspicious agents, trainers and tranings comrades of African runners!
Perhaps you would like to elaborate on the trainer and trainings group of CRANNY, SCHWEIZER, FISHER, MO AHMED AND KINCAID, including the trainers backup of the banned athlete and his claim that he had never heard about NANDROLON? And evaluate how the mentioned runners were able to make big performance jumps in their mid to late twenties?
Or will you like to scrutinize the trainer of Sydney Mclaughlin and Alyson Felix, including the reputation of his former athletes? It is not difficult for you; there is already a tread about the said trainer on these pages.
Or you could take a closer look on the American sprinters who are again coming near or breaking records set by notorious doped sprinters in the past. You can include the Jamaicans in your investigation.
Or finally you could evaluate why a number of American middle distance runners flopped this year: Brazier, Hoppel, Hocker, Teare, Nuguse and Kessler could be mentioned.

Normally I am not writing about doping for the simple reason that no athlete can prove THAT HE IS NOT DOPING and therefore I won´t accuse anyone of something I will never be able to prove.
But in this case I found it relevant to help you to get the full picture.
I have no horses in these doping races. I am from a small North European country with no doping culture (and very few athlete of international standard).

I was under the impression that we were discussing Tsegay. I’m quite sure the Americans have 10+ threads on many of your concerns already.

because you think Shaunae Miller-Uibo and others are clean. It's you that need to weak up.
At least Naser was an not favorized by conditions, seeking to improve her life.
Stop placing words in my mouth. I said nothing of the sort. Again, the subject here is Tsegay: managed by Pineda and coached by Aden. Stick to defending Aouita.
Tsegay is not coached by Aden, not has she ever been. Let’s just clear that up. The agent Pineda had a group of many of his athletes led by Aden and that obviously was at best unscrupulous as Jama is a notorious PED pusher. So if you want to question any athlete who would have an agent who would do business with Aden, sure I think that is fair.
But the loaded Tsegay group is trained by an Ethiopian coach and you can see a workout of theirs here:
Today we are back at the iconic Legatafo Track in Addis Ababa for a 5x1500m Workout (4min recovery). Gudaf Tsegay and Lemlem Hailu recently placed 1st in the...

Not true. She is coached by Aden through her husband (who is employed by Aden sports management group) and represented by Pineda (who fronts many of the Aden athletes). Why do you think an Ethiopian needs to travel to Spain so many times a year?

Meh, what does it matter anyway- you won’t be convinced otherwise- we are only wasting each other’s time. Believe what you want.
Funny the thread’s devolved into doping accusations as usual, presumably because the athlete is not American or from a western country. Tsegay hasn’t failed a test, so she’s as clean as everyone else or about as fairly doped as everyone else. Innocent until proven guilty is the name of the game.
