I’m genuinely perplexed and apoplectic that this is not a major story. The coverage is criminally bad and always has been. GRRRRRR

Guy was running smart race up front and out of trouble. I had to rewatch it because he suddenly disappeared from the front. on replay right when Luis G makes his move the camera follows him. you can hear the crowd when Kincaid probably goes down and then when the camera pans back, you see him clearly just getting back up. peacock never mentioned it which was funny because they had been talking about Kincaid and Mo training together. doesn't seem like there is any info on a protest.
I caught the race on USA network and they showed replays of the fall during the race. There is a video of the incident,
That Jerry can't get his guys into the final on protest is really a bad sign as that's a hard requirement for the Oregon job. Maybe Vin left him some notes in an old file cabinet.
He fell at 5:35 of the race and they showed the replay at 5:57. It looked like his right foot made contact with the knee of Hyuga Endo from Japan because Endo's stride slightly changes immediately. On the same stride, Kincaide's right foot may have made contact with the foot of Same Parsons from Germany as it was coming off the ground.
Or was the cameraman out on the track filming more triple jumpers?

What makes you say that Jerry can't get Woody in on a protest? Do we have confirmation that the protest failed?

Because no one cares about distance running and people fall all the time. It's not a story at all. It wouldn't have mattered anyways. Woody is grossly outmatched at this level.
Sheriff Woody deserves to get tested a few more times.
