What a race? That was amazing? Congrats to him and all of his family and coaching team. Beats 2 folks that are all timers. 5th place 3.30. What a race and he’s out front. Amazing- so happy for him!

Yeah, looked like it was going to be Ingebrigtsen, then he just couldn't turn his legs faster. I wonder how fast Wightman ran that last 100?

Wow such a cool race for Wightman. Major props to pull off the upset like that. Races like this make the sport great.

Big mistake for Ingebritsen to not hold off Wightman on the backstretch. Expected him to fight a bit more to maintain the lead, but seems like he just didn't have it.

yeah. it's sometimes hard for us hobby joggers to understand but even the best of the best have less than amazing days.

for me that's a 19min 5k. for Jakob that's a silver at worlds.

Jakob continues to run great, but it's tough when the expectation is greatest of all time or bust.
