WTF: I just saw a women's 1500 go out in 55? and there were 4 women on the pace?!!?

US men 1500 meter runners are so confused at what they just saw. They had no idea that you are permitted to run that fast during the first 1100m.

I think much greater than 10% It wouldn't shock me to see a stupidly slow first 300 with McSweyn deciding after 350 he wants to take the lead and kicking on down the back straight for the second time - they might not get past that first 400 in better than that though :D

That women's 1500m was won in a faster time than the mens 1500m in Rio 2016.

It's super irritating. They seemingly don't pay attention to anything other than the graphics that pop up on the screen.

They went through 300m in 43 - so there's no chance of them going through in 55.

Also, just as a side note. There have been so many bungles at this championships. What's going on Americans?

- Small crowds in an already small stadium

- 10,000m races scheduled for 1pm.

- Narrow as sh*te marathon course

- Cameraman blocking steeple finalists

- Faulty splits left, right and centre.
