They are going to blow up if they don't slow down
Why do all the Chinese woman runners wear a patch on their belly buttons? What is it?

On 2:19 pace as of now.
Much different from the men’s race. Such a small pack already.
6:33 for 2K
3:15 for second K
"not much slower than the men set out at yesterday"
On 2:18 pace through 2k.
East Africans aren't playin' this AM.
Small pack but also started with way less people (only 28 in the womens marathon I believe, which was the size of the lead pack yesterday at the beginning)
Just like the Women's 10K. These women don't f around. Bates and Hall let the lead pack go already.
All three Americans are in the lead pack going out at a brisk quick pace. Will that prove to be a bad idea?

I think 40 on the start line.
9:44 for 3K
3:11 for 3rd K
Getting even faster!
I picked "Any Japanese" for 3rd place and of course one just drops off the start list entirely and another DNS's. There goes any chance I had at 8 pts for this one.
Dayum! Now a 3:11 K.

There's going to be some major carnage at this rate lol
