Team USA marathon uniforms

Rupp has on the white Olympic marathon kit. The red/blue one is the generic USA WC track kit.

So they can wear what they want?

This is not the Olympics so Rupp should be DQ’d for not wearing an approved uniform.

Mickow is wearing white too. It seems like white was the color of the uniforms - Nike would want a lighter color because it keeps the athletes cooler. Kibet might have forgot his uniform and someone gave him a generic track one at the last minute.

Rupp's looks more comfortable. I'm sure he looked into it, but I am surprised he is not in a current uniform

The Africans seem to really like half tights. I always thought split shorts were the way to go for long distances.

They had multiple uniform options to pick from, Emma Bates allowed her followers to pick which top she will wear from 3 options.

Galen's uniform looks great. the white is is nice crisp

It's the same on the track, I've seen two USA runners in the same heat in different unis.

Right now on the South African LetsRun, they're debating why Melikhaya Frans wore a tee shirt.

Mickow (also white) was wearing the same uni as rupp. Kibet had to wear something different. The point is to highlight the history of racism in this country.

Rupp has been OFP for over a decade now. Pretty much thinks he could do whatever he wants at this point. He is pretty much the over paid boss that makes 6-figures a year but does not much of anything anymore and just needs to retire yeah that is Rupp.
