I'm not so sure that the mixed relay will be her last race.

She has said that she is willing to run in the women's 4x400. She has also said that she will have her final race in Los Angeles in early August.

Don't do that, leave her alone. She's a nice, hard working young lady and I think it was her first time on that big of a stage. She stood where the official told her to. And Lewis Johnson is a jack@ss for how he treated her during the interview, unnecessarily shaming her for the whole world to see. When they cut to her crying in the stands after the interview with him, that was heartbreaking. I'm glad her teammates were so supportive of her.

I agree that all the bragging about motherhood has been offensive. I was pretty anti-Felix before; now, even more so. It is simply not that impressive.

Newsflash: reproduction seems to be a default occurance with our species. There are people who conciously wish to avoid it and actively try to but still do it. That is how easy it is: it regularly happens accidentally. I've known mothers of 7 who were able to shut up about it. In this case, no extra hardship is making things more difficult. Poverty, doing it alone, not having your own parents around, having a 50 hour a week job.... In Felix's case, the dad is literally in the stands for the 6 minutes she has somewhere to be.

It will be great to never again hear Ato drooling while proclaiming that whatever place she got at USATF (6th, 7th, dead last) is high enough to get into the relay pool and scam a leg actually earned by someone in front of her.

It says a lot about her if the only thing you clowns can come up with to bag on her about is that she’s a mom.

She posted on IG that she was "going out with #10 at home" and a picture of Hayward field. I don't know if that means it's her last World Championships or her last race period. I also doubt she will be on the non-mixed 4x4, it would be hard to justify that other than just a sympathy spot and I am a fan of hers, just don't think it would be fair, Wadeline Jonathas should get a shot before her.

Letsrun hates her because she spoke out against the unfair contract conditions for women and mothers, and in doing so, made real changes that are benefitting female athletes. The same people who screech about killing babies on Roe v. Wade threads and b*tch constantly about Nike ruining the sport have contempt for a (black) woman the second she gives birth and dares to advocate for herself against a shoe company. She’s a woman who said something so they have to attack her, just like Cain speaking up about abuse although they all hated Salazar until a woman said something, or like Seidel, or any woman who says or does anything.

Then they claim they only hate SCR because she’s a “clown” while bagging on a woman like Felix doing nothing but running, winning and living a full and happy life.

Mind you, then these losers are all “save women’s sports” when it comes to Trans and DSD athletes, but hate a woman actually giving birth with her biologically female body!
