I didn’t know this meet was happening right in my neck of the woods!! I could have gone!
But this is a good sign, maybe not quite medal territory but definitely good enough for the final
Oh yea yet another excellent job promoting an ATL meet so that people actually know that it is happening. This series is the perfect example of how NOT to put on a track meet.

True track fans knew this meet was happening. Hobby joggers...not so much.

Exactly. Also, I saw no info on the LR home page. Also I could find no live result page anywhere else.

Yep, had no idea. I know myself and many others would have def. attended

Flo’da’s not a hobbyjogger. If anyone should have known, it should have been him.
This is nuts, zero promotion with a popular WR-holder in the meet? I guess track really is dead, when even the hard-core have to go out of their way to find out what’s going on.
I would like to see WVN make a full comeback, he really gives his all when he runs.

Definitely. I've put on high school dual meets better than this thing.
Literally 0 spectators. But how can they expect anyone to come to a meet with the longest event 800 and multiple heats of the 100 with 1/2 the guys running decent high school times and too many people DNSing?
Even watching on TV- they were introducing the 800's and the camera was pointing at the sky at the other end of the track.
Go to commercial, come back, the women are on the back stretch of the first lap.
They can't help the weather so the delay wasn't their problem.
At least have the mile and for this series they can have a couple relays- people love relays.
It was very difficult to watch and I think I would have been disappointed if I paid to go.
Maybe:
1. GIVE away tickets
2. Put on a decent meet to keep people interested.
