Great race, they showed the whole race live.

Early favorite to be selected to next year’s WC squad. She’s been on a nice upswing the past few years.
Great run from Lisa Weightman who ran 2:25:55 at the age of 43. A true champion! Interesting that Flanagan is coached by Aussie Benita Willis! Great results for both.
Her 2nd pb of the year at age 31. She came into the year with a 2:28:08 pb (Chicgo 2019) but ran 2:26:54 for 10th in Paris in April and now this. Super impressive.
Apparently she barfed all over the place after finishing.
Here is a picture of her and her coach - the 2004 world xc champ.
She's a major grinder. didnt she run pan-am games for USA
She sure is. She had a bit of the Paula Radcliffe head tick going on. Though rather than a straight up and down bob, hers was more up to the left, then down down to the right. Very strange.
she don't seem to give up
Tough race for Yuki Kawauchi- 3 hours and 57 minutes. Sounds like he cramped and hurt his hamstring but managed to jog it in.
Lindsay looks like she is deep into the pain cave with much f the race to go. And what's with Yuki finishing after getting hurt only 5K in? Not human!
Impressive, looks like she has gradually improved throughout her whole career and now make a big step change in performance. I remember when she was a borderline pro out of college and I didn't expect her to be in the game long, but she has certainly proved me wrong
She held it in for a bit after that, and then someone came over with a barf bag, just as the live coverage switched to the next ladies coming in.
