doesnt look like there are any races that are must-watch. Probably the most talent in the mens 15 with mcdonald, ciattei, eric holt. Interesting/random that cory mcgee is racing. I think the only worlds team member in the meet.
i will be kind of interested to see what fraser and o’keefe run in the 3k, with only 4 women in the race i wouldnt be surprised if they were time trialling
Would be neat to see some names that aren’t going to the world champs, like Chelimo, and maybe Allie O. and TAS, and Eric Holt. But due to travel expenses, maybe it’s mostly locals?
Thanks, cross-posted.
Sire are many -who are these people in those fields

Sound Running has a meet in Los Angeles three weekends in a row. The meet next Saturday is the best of the three meets, and most of the athletes at that meet won't be locals.
Highlights from the meet are, in order:
1. Vincent Crisp 1:45.03 PB (by 1.26 seconds!)
2. Morgan McDonald 3:39.09 season opener
3. WuGa He ONLY 46 SECONDS off Chinese National Record in the women’s 3k, winning in 8:52 over Fiona O’Keefe (8:53), with Vanessa Fraser 4th/5 in 9:02
4. Ben Blankenship only 4th in 13:58.95 in C-level 5k

Aside from Ma's Army from the early 1990's, I wonder what the fastest Chinese women is in the 3k? Maybe she isn't too far off the Chinese non-drugged record.
Looks like a yawner of a meet. Glad I didn't pay to watch
Sydney Gidubuday with a 4:14 mile? What was the point of that?
