In his most recent video he used the ‘fact’ that pride is a sin as an objective arguing point. I grew up LDS/Mormon where they believe drinking tea/coffee is sinful.

How smart would I look if I said “We should stop enabling addicts to continue drinking coffee every morning. Coffee is objectively bad, this is proven through my religions holy book which says we shouldn’t drink coffee. Drinking coffee is objectively wrong. You are unintelligent and evil if you drink coffee”

To non-religious people, that is what Peterson’s argumentative style sounds like. Peterson has a great understanding of the English language, and can speak in a way that sounds very intelligent. That doesn’t mean that the things he says hold any validity.

If you believe that gender dysphoria is a mental illness, then you also must understand Peterson was banned from Twitter for bullying someone with a mental illness through your train of logic. It’s either that or hate speech akin to racism or homophobia. Peterson isn’t the good guy here in either scenario.

1. You don’t have to be religious to understand the concept of a sin. You can be an art just and acknowledge that pride can be bad.
2. You are too soft. There was nothing bullying about his tweet. There is no such thing as hate speech
