On the first day of their biggest event of the year, police raided the hotel of Bahrain Victorious at the behest of French Prosecutors. Track and Field needs more surprise raids. This was the second time this week that the team was raided.
The Bahrain Victorious team at the Tour de France was raided by police for the second time this week on Thursday, a day before the Tour's grand start in Denmark.
Cycling would be far more interesting if they just stopped testing. It was certainty more interesting before the post Lance Era. I couldn't give 2 shts now.
Raids are cool, ask Aden + Blessing + Operation Aderlass. Much more productive than the toothless USADA asking NOP to please hand over all discriminating material, lol.

Raids work best when all the subjects are in one place such as a cycling team the night before a race. At DL meets do all the athletes stay in the same hotel?
This happens often enough that it really becomes a test of intelligence or arrogance. If a team gets caught with stuff in its hotel room, management is stupid or cocky.
Remember in the Lance days doping would often take place in a motorhome away from the hotel.
The Lance Era and before were interesting. After Lance, doping crackdown era.... not interesting.
If they want to make it interesting they need to get rid of race radios and power meters. That'd bring all the fun back overnight. Will never happen though.
Doping is for losers. Get out of here with that trash.
