He was on a bike the last 12 days. Kudos to Hocker for giving it a shot. Hope he recovers quickly.

I wonder why Teare didn’t race PTF or the Nike outdoor 800m time trial. I’m guessing he was trying to cover Hocker’s injury?
Wow, if true Fauble looks like a complete dbag
What an embarrassment. Hocker did not say or do anything, why kick him while he's down.
That was a completely idiotic take to begin with on Fauble's part, not only because Hocker has raced plenty of tactical races in his past and done well, but also because the event he runs is almost always just a time trial for guys like him. Not sure what he has against Hocker to say that.
Not at all. If he was injured, he still ran like a fool.
Yeah- I don’t get Fauble- it’s not like he’s never had a bad outcome in a high pressure race ( OT Marathon) when he was a favorite to make the team. As my mama taught me, “ If you can’t say anything nice, don’t say anything at all”
just makes him look like a jerk, regardless of what you think of Hocker
When Hocker crossed the line did he put his finger to his lips?
Conservatively, Hocker raced 17 times (non-time trials) before the Olympic Trials last year; this year, maybe 5 before USATF.
The "BOWERMAN" let's just run TT until the big meet "model" is failing.
Cole Hocker is a PRO. Just like LeBron James is a PRO.
If you can criticize LeBron you should be able to criticize Cole Hocker.
He is a man collecting a pay check.
Fauble's criticisms are 100% vaild.
Love Cole Hocker but 2022 (getting a paycheck Cole Hocker) is different than 2021 College/broke Cole Hocker.
Like Hobbs Kessler - it might take a few years to adjust to the PRO circuit/lifestyle.
I am BULLISH on both runners but let's stop with "You can't criticize the PRO athlete."
Yeah that makes way more sense. He just ran stride for stride with Timothy Cheruiyot and Abel Kipsang at Pre and 3 weeks later hes getting his doors blown off by Eric Holt, obviously something was wrong. And Scott Fauble is a total tool, Hocker is a 3x US champ at age 20 coming off a 6th place in the Olympics and now he doesnt know how to race??
Hope he can get healthy and put up some good performances in the Diamond League later this summer.
Fauble is a POS.
No wonder he's never been an Olympian. Loser mentality.

Terrible take by Fauble.
My opinion of Fauble has 100% improved. I like people who have strong opinions are not afraid to share them publicly.
Your response "Yea but he is not a great runner."
What does that have to do with the merits of his argument?
Like Grant Fisher losing to Klecker, Hocker might want to run more races and less TT in front of friends and family (and not tv).
This is Fauble's point and it's a good one.
Did you do that research yourself, or copy a post that you saw on Twitter?
3:39.57... your move... where's that t-shirt....

Yes, so strange from a guy who never made it.
Maybe he would want to continue his thought and explain why he never qualified for the WC or Olympics. What is it that he did wrong for never being able to hit top 3? Maybe we could all learn from that.
Fauber is a second rate domestic talent that ran at a second rate collegiate program and failed to make a splash as a second rate pro on a second rate pro team. Now he is the token boy on a team of accomplished women that put his palmares to shame. The guy’s strong opinion is about as important as that of your local Turkey Trot masters champion.
