Point of correction. Nuguse is not the NCAA 1500m record holder. Eliud Kipsang is. In addition Nuguse won only one NCAA individual event, the 2019 NCAA Outdoor 1500m.
Camp-Bennet and Orton-Morgan train together under Taylor, and I think Wayment did some workouts with them while still at BYU. But now, officially part of the group.
The story they told on Coffee Club about playing Mario Kart with Yared makes a lot more sense now lol. I hope he runs well with them and we get lots of opportunities to proclaim, "THE GOOSE IS LOOSE!"
Step #1 is for Ritz to keep Nuguse healthy. He didn't have any major injuries, but has always had nagging ones. Hopefully, not taking pre-med classes nor studying for the MCAT will keep him healthy and allow him to get some sleep and recover.
Nuguse has expressed interest in Dentistry, the curriculum for which is a bit less intensive than Med school--a benefit if he decides to train and study concurrently.
Ollie Hoare (3:47) will be a great training partner for Nuguse and Garcia Romo, and interesting to see what they do with altitude training after running 3:34-35 on sea level training. I bet they do very well.

Yeah, it's difficult to imagine anything but faster times all round (and great camaraderie). On the women's side, is it a little curious that two new steeplechasers are training apart instead of joining Falland in Boulder?

pro (byu) runners all have stayed in provo w their coach, while for hannah, it says on an instagram post that shes gonna be coached by coach henes, which if im not mistaken, would be coach henes' first go at pro coaching

Not that it matters now, but I wonder if Ritz supported, opposed or was indifferent to this arrangement....
ON has plenty of other runners around the world not being coached by Ritz, so this isn't something unusual. He probably wanted Nuguse and Garcia Romo and got them. Wayment was the really only true distance talent coming out of the collegiate ranks this year, and there is not way she is leaving Diljeet.
