I’m comparing this with other places where I have lived including Canada, USA, Ireland, the UK, different countries in Asia like China, Taiwan, South Korea, the Philippines, Thailand etc. In my experience, France tops the list for short fuses in people. It’s a cultural thing.

I know exactly what the poster means with "short fuse". But I take that any day over the artificial "friendliness" of Americans. In Europe you yell at each other and if it comes to the worst a fist fight starts. In the US you just get shoot, no questions asked.
