Schweizer @ 14:26, Monson now @ 14:31 while Cranny @ 14:33i.
Per Ritz, Monson now likely to scratch USAs since she just ran this really fast Oslo race. Thus, USAs looks like Schweizer, Cranny (in some order) and Weini Kelati further back for 3rd.
Consider this: Schweizer has only been training with the BTC women's team (now down to Karissa, Elise, Courtney Frerichs and Vanessa Fraser since Andrea Secaffiean is out for the year following knee surgery) since January after coming off an October bone spur/achilles procedure. Yet, she still outkicked Monson to win the USA 10k race last month while past weekend winning a 4:00.+/1500 off a way-too-fast 2:05/800 paced by Cranny who now looks like herself again.
Either later this year or next, very likely Karissa and/or Elise and/or Alicia will take the US 5k record under 14:20 and be ready to compete for medals by Paris '24.
