Best runner I've seen in my lifetime. Crazy to think that he's still only 21.
The thought that he may not peak for another couple of years is crazy.
Faster than Webb barely Webb ran 3:46.91 So a little less than half second difference between the 2 in the mile.
In June.... one month prior to WCs...
Great performance. Will be very interesting to see what tactics Jakob employs in the World finals if Tim lets him lead. I could see Kipsang flying by in the second lap if he were in this race.
Didn't he indicate he doesn't want to do this forever? He might (a) have peaked anyway, or (b) elect to retire after the next Olympics.
He said he wants to go until at least 2028 in an interview after Pre
Which means he'll go to 2032 at least. It's just a person talking with a microphone in front of them.

Let it be noted, all the 5 times run faster than Jakob, came before there was a test for EPO.

No Ethiopians, in all time top 20 list. Interesting.

Yes, but some would argue that there were other ways to contravene the established rules.
Number 2 all time in my book…
Fastest mile on the planet since El G 3:44.95 in June 2001... the mile is BACK baby!!!
Very impressive but not surprising. He ran 3:28 last year.
I forgot Daniel komen was a strong 1500 runner. No wonder he holds the 3 k record by a considerable amount
RIP: D3 All-American Frank Csorba - who ran 13:56 in March - dead
Great interview with Steve Cram - says Jakob has no chance of WRs this year
RENATO can you talk about the preparation of Emile Cairess 2:06
Hats off to my dad. He just ran a 1:42 Half Marathon and turns 75 in 2 months!
