Well, you see, by making every fearful of social interaction with other people and making it illegal for people to gather together for fear of punishment or death by covid, one could easily see how that could push the mentally unstable towards guns. Where before those mentally unstable would have at least some interaction with a cashier or librarian, the liberal media instead drove the message they need to be fearful of everyone which makes them increasingly lonesome and deranged enough to use a gun on children. So yes, you could link covid to the rise of gun deaths in children but not with how the liberal leftist media fearmongers distort it.

This would be interesting if the root cause was guns. The 30% increase is a byproduct of COVID shutdowns pushed by the left. So, now who really cares about the welfare of the youth in this country? The shutdowns were terrible for kids, as it caused some to become more isolated and commit suicide (primarily white kids), and others (especially the poor) lost a year or more of education that they will never get back and will affect their lifetime earnings to the tune of 17 trillion dollars to roam the streets and start shooting each other (the homicide deaths were primarily among black youths).
