The 2022 Nike kit must be changed. As a photographer, I have been forced to toss so many images because they are not suitable for public consumption. The male kits are terrible and it's virtually impossible to get a shot that doesn't look obscene. I don't know who's idea this was, but they should be fired immediately.
It's mainly the male kits where the problem occurs. I don't know if it's the color or the thickness or what the issue is, but t's an issue!
It's the small lines on the kits. It accentuates any bumps or curves underneath. A plain color kit won't do that nearly as much.
And lighter colors also accentuate any bumps or curves underneath.
So for the issue that you're talking about, the best kit would be a plain kit in a darker color. This is design 101. The fact that Nike is ignoring basic design principles means either they are doing it on purpose, or they have no idea what they're doing.
Sorry, it would be in poor taste to post them, which is the problem.
Ironically, the whole point of runners wearing the kit of their sponsor is so that people can see pics of them in it. So if photographers won't post pics of runners in a sponsor's kit, then the sponsor really screwed up.
