Says he still has work to do but remains, for me, the perfect sprinter with the most beautiful form in the world.
says the food poisoning in Nairobi “wasn’t the best week” of his life. Says Pre will be very competitive.
I honestly can’t see anyone beating Trayvon Bromell who seems to be in the shape of his life.
When Bromell runs well in a meet that matters, we can talk.
I remember as recently as 2 weeks ago about Jacobs possibly being able to break the 100m WR because of the 9.4 he supposedly ran in practice in March as well as that "timed" 120m run in which he supposedly ran faster (mph) than Bolt did during his 9.58. 10.04 will be improved upon, but he's not even going to run 9.7x.
The 9.4 was from a running start.
I wouldn't give up on him yet but we'll have to see where the season takes him. Kerley got a bit to prove himself after losing in the 100m and then the 200m.
No the 9.41 was produce behind a vehicle that reduces air resistance. The 9.65 in the 120m was semi automatically timed.
okay ,so Bolt ran 8.69 from running start and people still think that Jacobs can break his record ? :D
That’s great for an opener. AN OPENER.
No doubt he was running safely within himself. 9.7x is not at all out of the question for him.
Vid?
Smooth, eased, looked easy.
Not that bad. For someone who had been sick that’s pretty good!
He's lost a lot of weight from how he was in Tokyo. Looked so thin after his night in hospital in Nairobi.
He's also got a wedding coming up on September 17th, so that could be a factor.
For El K, any obviously juiced athlete is an honoury Kenyan.
Lucky he's not a paranoid type, obviously. Seems suspicious that the top guy falls ill after eating at a local restaurant, and has to drop out of the race that the national star wins.
Something must've happened for Covett too think Kenyans are the most evil and most conniving people on the planet. Something more than just Brits failing to win a global distance medal since Peter Elliot in 1988.
Let’s hope his decreased performance has nothing to do with a lack of a nutritionist…
