Given the current three-day schedule for Conference meets and the present event schedule for Nats, a 1500/10K double is impossible on the collegiate level. But imagine if a four-day Conf meet was proposed, holding a "showcase" 10K on Thurs, 1500 prelims on Sat and 1500 final on Sun. A good idea, allowing certain overachievers with impressive range to attempt a "Hassan Double?" I'd think squads such as NAU men and NC State women would be all for it, but is it realistic to expect widespread support for such a change? Maybe changes to the Nat'l meet only (both divisional 10Ks held on Day 1, both 1500 semifinals on Day 3, M & W 1500 & 5000 finals on Day 4)?
