letsrun needs to learn what a true 1500 runner is. No one ever asked Makhloufi or Willis to run a faster 5k. They just won medals doing their best event. Same for Kerr. I’m sure he’s disappointed but it shouldn’t matter.

Not if Leo tried to run 13:10. At 13:45 pace he would have been on his own from the start.
I'm not sure why Josh Kerr would particularly care what his 5k time is. He's a massive 1500 runner, so it's not like he's built for true distance running. I think a 2k, MAYBE 3k, would be a more interesting test of his endurance.
