You notice how they call it forgiveness? These morons need to be forgiven for their stupidity. I would NEVER forgive this student loan debt as it is going to enable and perpetuate their stupidity.
What have you contributed to society that the government should forgive your loan? Did you join the Peace Corp? Serve in the military? Don’t you think if you want your loans forgiven you should do some type of national service?

Your poor, poor lender. How have they been able to feed their family the last two years? It's really disturbing that you would happily see their suffering continue. For the good of our beloved, generous big banks, you need to do the right thing and spend the rest of your life paying off this debt you acquired as a teenager. It wouldn't be fair to people like me, either, if you don't. I took out $2300 in student loans back in 1991 and paid it back no problem. Time to grow up and move back in with mom and dad because you definitely can't afford a house, loser!

$70,000 in forgiveness isn't going to happen.
$50,000 in forgiveness isn't going to happen.
$10,000 in forgiveness MIGHT happen.
Probably this ^. But , they are not going to do this until September / October. They don't want you to forget what they did for you before you vote.

I like it. Wipe $20k in loans for every year served in the military, or as a teacher in an underserved area, or some other thing that gives value back to the taxpaying public. A win-win.
And remember IF student loans are forgiven (which is highly unlikely), it will only apply for public schools. If you went anywhere private you are SOL.

Yep, times have changed. A degree in gender studies sounds real useful and helpful to society. Dont know why they even still offer women's studies degrees. There's a ton of other useless degrees but hey, we should forgive all of the entitled people for their poor choices.

Not sure what you’re projecting here, maam, but it’s a simple question. Loans will be forgiven and I simply want to know what I’m entitled to receive, no need to be mean.

I don’t think so. I’d rather not work than go into teaching. Sounds awful.
