Yep they both are. I believe Sadie said she was planning on racing the 1600m in the postseason with either the 800m or 3200m. Not sure if a decision has been made yet.

If Sadie decides to run the 800, who else in California is close to her in the 800?

Cate Peters is 2nd fastest so far at 2:06.89. She is in NCS so would not face Sadie until the state meet. Peters has a 54.74 400 so is more of a sprinter.

Can you please link to wherever online breaks down California high school runners by section?
The Marmonte League Prelims and Finals are next week, and that begins the road to the State Meet so I'm assuming that the NP kids are pointing for those meets.
Cal prep track.com has all the HS lists for Calif. it also breaks it down by section and division. Rich Gonzales (Arcadia Inv meet director (former?)) runs the site.
why in the world would you post this here? this deserves its own post not stuck in here to shut down discussion of another runners accomplishment. this is a heart wrenching tragedy that keeps happening and needs to be better addressed (student athlete mental health) not an after thought to stick in an unrelated thread.
