I thought that your eligibility clock started ticking as soon as you graduated high school. I believe it was you had 6 years after high school graduation to finish all 4 years of eligibility.

So I guess a red shirt year, plus the Covid red shirt year that everyone got, which would make her technically still a junior.
It seems like she has been around a long time. I still remember her from Footlocker in 2015 I think.

I have enjoyed Barnett's powerful, balanced running form and performances since she popped onto the scene.
Pretty much the ideal miler.

Well Connor Mantz graduated high school in 2014 and was in this past fall's NCAA XC championships....there's definitely loop holes

He graduated in 2015 and took too years off. He redshirted 2017 and competed 2018, 2019, 2020, and 2021 (4 seasons).
