5:39 mile and 19:57 5k been averaging 10 miles a week for about 2 months and still improving a lot off this low mileage. mostly easy to moderate runs 2-5 miles.
ahaha at the very least sub 13, my pr is 16:46 about 40-50mpw but i was overtraining, i dont ever want to get to that much running again haha. id like to max out around 30, 35 max and get back to the low 17s at least

you have no talent if that's all you mustered. walk away now before your ego takes too big of a hit to recover from.

You don't ever want to run that much again? as in run 40-50 mpw again? You can't gut out 4-7 miles a day? I can tell you your potential, nothing special with an attitude like that. We're the only sport that glorifies doing something off nothing.
You either put in the work to figure out your potential, or you better be content with not knowing it.

sorry for the slow reply, been running the simulation with my new algorithm but it's really data intensive.

chill buddy not everyone has 5-6 hours a week just for running. Not everyone bodies can handle that much pounding. I have multiple hobbies outside of running, work 45-50 hours a week. Have a social life and a pet to maintain. Im not tryna run a fcking 15 minute 5k my guy. Go back to your depressing situation of a life.
0 potential because you aren't willing to run more than 10 mpw
1. My potential is at least 19:57 since i just ran that. 2. Where did i say I wasn't willing to run more than 10 mpw? My last 2 weeks were 12 and 15. 3. my goal is to slowly build up mileage over the course of this year, because i haven't ran seriously in 4 years and would like to avoid injury. 5. You have zero potential at being a serious coach

Sounds like you're single, no kids or spouse, and not killing yourself with work.
If you're too lazy to run the mileage to find out if you could be a good runner, well that's fine, but don't make excuses for it.
I (and I'm sure many here) have done big mileage with 70 hr weeks, full families, and a normal social life. If you want it you can make the time for it.

forsure i am single, my job is pretty relaxed. But I hardly doubt you were working 70 hrs, running 70 mpw and being a great parent/ spouse to your family and maintaining a social life with extra hobbies on the side. Maybe you should read some of my other comments. Like ive already explained i have multiple hobbies outside of running, at the moment im running 4x a week 3-5 mile runs and slowly increasing my miles. road biking, mountain biking, going to the bars to get p*ssy. Making time socialize with multiple friend groups. Walking my dog everyday. Maintaining a house by myself and not having a spouse and children that do all the house work for me. Im not making excuses im explaining why im not running 5 plus hours a week my guy.
