    7 different lead changes after the 25 mile mark. 6 lead changes in the final mile. Jepchirchir was relentless and eventually former half-marathon WR holder Ababel Yeshaneh succumbed.

    2:21:01 to 2:21:05

    What's interesting is the last mile wasn't fast. 5:23.

    Yeshaneh with one of the sloppiest last miles I've seen in elite marathoning. Can we watch the tape again and count how many head turns and watch checks there were? That might be a record.
