The 7 year itch is approaching.
Combine that with the fact he'll never get the depth of raw talent that landed on his doorstep with the Young and Sahlman brothers and realistically there's nowhere to go but down after the class of '23 graduates.
Currently there are 6 sophomores and 1 freshman boy on the track distance squad. That's pretty telling that seeds are not being planted for the future.
So does Brosnan end up coaching in college, a pro team/club, or will he do something else outside of running?
Who wants to take that $1 bet against me?
To be sure, he's done a phenomenal job and this is not a knock against him. It's rare that we fully take advantage of opportunity that comes our way in life, but he certainly has done just that.
