Sub-4 in Delaware!!! Biden Witness!!

Nice. Pity they weren’t able to get them in the same race with the Arcadia boys. All that slapping of them chest at the end is annoying AF.

So on the one hand they want to shout about being elite athletes, running at the international level for 'their' country and trying to be the best in the world

on the other hand celebrating and banging your chest because you ran a 3:58 Mile.. against? dw, i'm sure the TME IG will mention something about it being 'a tactical race'

As a former Delaware HS track runner, this is just awesome. I know it doesn't seem like a big deal to others, but I got mad respect for everyone who put this event together. Wish I could have been there!

I was there and it was absolutely great for the DE running community. The time doesnt matter, it's about how great it was for the community as a whole.

What was great about it?

This was a great event that Tatnall pulled off. Almost literally in JRB's backyard! I wonder if Kieran was invited? He attempted a sub 4 on DE soil at St Mark's a couple years ago but came up just short. It would've been cool to see Delaware's two greatest ever milers go head to head.

So was Biden at the meet?

Can someone provide a link to the name of the meet or an article in the local paper so we can put it up on the front page?

Four-minute-mile finally falls in Delaware

Confirming Biden didn't attend, but it's an eerie atmosphere when you see the police and security blocking off his house from the track and on warm-ups and cool-downs. It was all the kids were talking about as they would run to the Biden house and be turned around by Secret Service. Really interesting atmosphere knowing the President is across the street.
