Tickets are $500+ and these are just the okay seats.
People can do what they want. With these prices I stay home. I would pay maybe $80 for a Track and Field event on the highest level but that would be pushing it. For $40 I would go. But please don't complain if you can't fill the seats.

Yeah, it's the World MF Champs! After a spectator-free Olympics, demand will be even higher than usual for these tix. What's the stadium seating capacity? They'll fill the stands without you.
How much is a ticket to only one playoff game (3 hours) in the first round of the MLB playoffs? Looks like the cheapest tickets are about $100 for just one game, good seats are $400-$1k depending on who's playing. And then even more for the world series, which is more the equivalent of the world championships. MLB world series starts at $300 for a 3 hour game and good seats can be thousands of dollars per game.
$100 to get in for a session at the world championships sounds about right.
Tickets starting at 100 bucks is cheap AF. But of course there's some runners who are cheap AF too. When you haven't had a full-time job for over a year consecutively in your life, then yeah $20 will be a fortune to you.
I can kinda understand that price for WC's but I was looking at NCAA's and the lowest is $92 for general admission. I can easily afford it but thought it was a bit high. Empty seats for sure for that one.
NCAA what? Basketball? NCAA track tickets are pretty cheap.
Empty seats for what? Track & Field World Championships? No, there won't be empty seats. Most tickets have already been sold, and it will eventually sell out 100%.

Uh, you didn't know what topic we are discussing here? I replied, and quoted, the OP who is talking about Track and Field.
Also, take a look again at the available seats for NCAA's...full of blue which means available seats. Most seats have not been sold. Far from it.

You write vaguely and you don't even realize that you are doing that.
And no, we AREN'T talking about tickets for NCAA track and field championships. If you read the title of this thread, you will CLEARLY see that it is talking about the WORLD track and field championships.
But since you changed the topic and mentioned NCAA track and field championships, no, there won't be empty seats for that. I've been to the NCAA track and field championships in Eugene before. They always sell out. Eugene is a big track town.

Baseball is awesome tho, track tickets should be around 10$ if an mlb game is 300$
Bet Wejo, newly single again, will be using his cred to try to access every area he can in and around the stadium to lay that Ivy League charm on any lady not wearing a wedding ring.
