Background before the video...apparently the puncher was standing on the track the first time the punchee went by and the punchee shoved the kid out of the way. The puncher then either didn't leave the track or came back on or stood right on the edge and the punchee shoved him again, which is what led to the altercation. It is my understanding the police were called.
Definitely some poor meet management.

But yeah this is sad. Not sure what was going on in his head but there were better ways to deal with it other than knocking that kid off the track

Horrific!!! Unless the white dude hit was using the “N” word to insult people, there’s no justification whatsoever - even then, if I heard that at the meet, I’d walk off in protest and sue the crap out of the school. Violence begets more stupid violence!

I hate how the N word and/or other slurs are just seen as some kind of trigger word that justifies any physical violence that follows. You see it all the time, there's a fight between a white kid and some other race and the video title says that the white kid said such and such slur so it's suddenly okay. And no, I'm not white, it's just an observation.

Link seems a bit sketchy so I am posting the Youtube video here. I am not seeing any additional info on this attack... does anyone know where this was or the story behind it?
