Women are not children. Why are men forcing women to throw a shot put that his HALF the size and weight of the shot put the men throw?
This is insulting and humiliating for these women. It's time for this to stop and STOP NOW! This insult has gone on long enough, it's not the 1950's any more!
OP, I'm afraid your apparent ignorance of the event (the object that is propelled is a SHOT, not a "shot put") makes it impossible to give any credit to your opinion about it.

Nor is it half the weight of the men's.
The weaker sex use a lighter shot and still don't throw it as far. If anything it's too heavy as is, but close enough to not warrant changing.
If women tennis players get equal pay, they should also play best of five.
Yes, that one is silly. There is zero reason for woman to only play best of 3. Problem is that the tournaments would now get even longer. But there is really zero reason.
Is tennis another case like the heptathlon that the competitors might not want the change. 5 sets might require a different game/body type to win this hurting the present players.

Rise up and FIGHT!
If you’re a distance runner, you’ve probably never even picked up a shot so your advice for the sport isn’t worth much. I was at a meet in Oakland where one of the sprinters suggested that we race around Lake Merrit to shorten the meet.
Nah, let the men use the women's size. That would be awesome.
Ryan Crouser would make the shot put a true spectator sport. Heads up in the front row!
A lighter weight shot for the men would open up the field and turn the event into one about strength + technique, rather than brute strength as the event that exists now.
The best male putter with a lighter shot would not necessarily be Crouser. In HS Crouser couldn't throw within 4 feet of Micheal Carter's record throw of 81 feet. Never mind that Crouser was taller and heavier and stronger than Carter. Carter couldn't bench 300 lbs.
Carter's throwing method was all about technique. Crouser, as he is now, would not necessarily be #1 with a lower weight shot. But a slimmed down Crouser with a modified technique has a better chance at being #1 with a lighter weight shot.

He couldn't even pick up a shot. Not even a single pull up. Maybe one push up. Because he has runner's arms.

So?
So, the largest, strongest will #1 with a lighter weight shot. Michael Carter vs. Ryan Crouser proved that throwing the HS sized shot.
A super skinny Joker could well be down the rankings that are lead by a different body type player who is great at three sets but not so much at five set. Joker would have to adjust his game, meaning problem putting on weight to be competitive.
I know you're joking and trolling but I still agree with the concept of every gender/identity using the exact same standards in track.
Distance, hurdles, fields. Just make it all the same.
Absolutely awful idea, at least as far as the hurdles are concerned. In case you didn't know, the average woman is much shorter than the average man and would struggle with men's hurdle height. Not to mention it would mean starting over from scratch with the current record book.
Youth athletes use lighter implements, shorter hurdles and at times, race shorter distances. Why? Because they are on average, weaker, shorter and slower than senior athletes so it doesn't make sense to have them using senior standards. No one questions this, but when it's men vs women all of a sudden it becomes "offensive" even though the exact same logic applies.
