A series of swift Russian advances have challenged Ukraine’s new line of defense set up after their withdrawal from the key town of Avdiivka and are raising fears about Kyiv’s tactics and momentum on the front lines.
Abrams tanks are weak and useless. 3 down so far. They will become Abramovich Russian museum tanks now. All American equipment is no match for Russia firepower.
Amid the ongoing conflict in Eastern Europe, the presence of another batch of American M1 Abrams – often labelled as Monster tanks – symbolizes a dramatic sh...
I am surprised D.o.D. and intelligence agencies allowed this video on Youtube. The fact that this video is allowed to be seen in U.S. tells me U.S. flag ranked commission officers are trying to pressure U.S. politicians to financially cut off Ukraine.
dod told us they would make this problem last year. Last year they reported ukraine would get dumbed down abrams WITHOUT depleted uranium armor. Now they are getting roasted by RPG's FFS. They knew this would happen. They sent 30 or so. They will get picked off like all the Leopards and challengers. Unlimited Russian artillery will ruin the NATO party in the end. abrams are 60 ton museum pieces if Russia decides to drag them away.
So, the peace deal that the US and UK vetoed (according to reliable sources like Jimmy Dore) turned out to be nothing more than a blatant set up to allow Russia to get a second chance to take Kyiv after its badly botched invasion in February of 2022. The deal would have completely neutered Ukraine's armed forces, requiring them to give up all western arms and limit the range of missiles. It was nothing more than a sitting duck proposal.
And while Ukraine's front lines are suffering badly under the artillery diet imposed by House Speaker Johnson to help Republican ally Vladimir Putin own the libs by taking all of Ukraine and then Moldova, Ukraine's ability to do more with less militarily is quite amazing. UA took out 15 Russian aircraft in just two weeks. Ukraine also blew out a military supply rail bridge inside Russia. And Russia had to shut the Kerch bridge due to Ukraine drone attacks.
Ukraine's artillery diet may be coming to an end soon. Europe via the Czech Republic is set to make huge deliveries of artillery this spring. If a US aid package passes this spring, Ukraine will have a windfall of artillery for summer fighting. And Dutch f16 deliveries are set for this year.
In fits and starts, Ukraine’s European allies are piecing together the financing and industrial resources to supply the Ukrainians with the artillery ammo they need.
F-16 fighter jets will arrive in Ukraine in 2024, said Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy following a meeting with Mark Rutte, Prime Minister of the Netherlands.
Of course peace deal, as you say in 2024 will not be as favorable as a peace deal in 2022. You were posting about a stalemate about a year ago. Even an Ukraine supporter like yourself will admit the fight is moving in one direction. Peace deal? These are terms for surrender for President Zelensky and Ukraine.
Based on the opinions of U.S. Executive Branch, U.S. Executive Branch and Office of Naval Intelligence about 125 years ago U.S. decided Panama was no longer a territory of Columbia. Based on the opinions of Office of Naval Intelligence and U.S. Executive Branch, for awhile, Office of Naval Intelligence and C.I.A. decided Taiwan was no longer part of China. Based on C.I.A. and U.S. Executive Branch going back about ten years plus, U.S. decided Ukraine was no longer part of Russia. You need to be honest. You are not advocating for the best interest of U.S. Say your personal and family ties to Ukraine.
How would you feel if China, Iran and Russia decided California, Nevada, New Mexico, Texas and Utah no longer belonged to U.S? I am sure, if China, Iran and Russia spread money around in the five mentioned states, China, Iran and Russia could find a few thousand men to join their cause. How would that make you feel? Btw., you are not going to get your way regarding funding by insulting Speaker Johnson.
How does this even compare to Ukraine which gained independence over 30 years ago, and has been declared a sovereign country by everyone including Russia? Even Putin himself.
I don't know Putin. I do not know everything he has said. Two and 1/2 years ago, Putin clearly wanted to move the Russian border about 100km into Ukraine because of mistreatment of Russians in eastern Ukraine. Do we agree? Today, due to cost of lives and money, Putin/Russia are going to take back Ukraine.

Oh I agree that Putin/Russia wants to take back Ukraine and that without enough support, Ukraine is doomed to this fate. I just don't agree that it's because of any reason publicly given. I don't know the man either, but I think he laments the breaking apart of the Russian empire and wants to piece it back together. The problem is that this includes countries that are now NATO. If/when he's done with Ukraine he will take Moldova and then park 200k soldiers on the Baltic borders and see how NATO responds.

This analysis by Gonzalo Lira is the best overview of how and why the Ukraine war started. It is two years old now, so perhaps it has been posted here already and many have seen it. But with Victoria Nuland finally getting forced out of the State Department, her central role in the war is (or should be!) in the news again. If you watch the entire thing, you'll understand why Nuland and her allies had Lira killed - he is absolutely on target. Nuland's personal background explains her motivations for hating Russia with white-knuckled, vein-popping passion. Fine, but that doesn't mean all of America needs to share her neuroses and kick in $200 billion of our tax dollars. Gonzalo points out Victoria doesn't have kids of her own.

In under a week, Ukraine witnessed the destruction of three U.S.-made M1 Abrams tanks, reportedly by Russian anti-tank guided missiles. These losses, particularly highlighted on social media, have served as a propaganda boost...
NATO missiles relocated closer to Russia. Let's hope they can be used to kill Russians in Stalingrad and Leningrad soon.
Russia's biggest nightmare is NATO missiles within range of Moscow, Stalingrad and Leningrad. Russians even invaded Ukraine because of its sh!t-fear of NATO missiles. Now they are ALL over the places aimed at Russians. Russia's days in its present condition are limited.
