What will I run for 10k?

Low to mid 34

I wanted add, that 3x2 miles was done on a road loop with a little elevation (around 70ft), and it was quite windy, around 20mph headwind for around a third of the loop. Hoping for better conditions on the day

any guesses for 2 mile, 5k, or 10k time based on these workouts?

8 mile continuous tempo 5:05 average. 5:25 down to 4:40.

55 minute continuous progression 5:17 average. 5:40 first 20 minutes & cut down from there.

8 by k (2:49 average), 2:58 down to 2:39 on a lot of rest.

all of these were in the past 10 days at a with adequate rest by by no means sleeping as good as i should be. running hard but definitely not race effort beside maybe that last kilo.

I think you might be a shade over 35 but no reason not to keep training hard & go for it!

I would say that this - "8x1k (avg: 3:24) 1:30 slow jog rest" - is a solid argument to break 35.

The 5-miler indicates you're at least in mid-34 shape, assuming you indeed ran it at LT.

I think the best predictors among those workouts are the 3 x 2 miles and the 5 miler. I'm too lazy to do the math by it's almost a sure thing that you could run the pace of the 2 milers in a 10K race (about 5:40 pace). I would guess the 5 miler was faster than threshold, but I'd guess you could go a littler faster than that pace for your race, and again that would be 5:40ish pace. Could you go faster? Maybe, but those workouts indicate you're safely at that level.

I didn't measure it, but it was right in the middle of the LT pace zone calculated on the McMillan calculator and the Daniels VDOT. Going by feel, it was definitely harder than a tempo effort but not all-out. I also negative split by 10 seconds with the last mile in 5:40.

Sub-35 feels touch-and-go, I'm hoping for a little race day magic and hoping a taper will help

You are probably close to 35, perhaps slightly under, depending on the course/conditions. I run almost exactly the same times when I run 35:05, but, as a mid-distance runner, I would run the 300s in 55-56 and the 2 miles in 11:30.

I run similar workouts and tend to have 10k races around 35. Based on my experience, I think you will be just a bit over 35, probably around 35:20. The workouts are good but paces are just a smidgeon too slow to expect a sub-35. That said, I'm more of a track guy so your experience could be different.
