The super shoes are worth 2-3 seconds per mile. Dude still would of run 26:50s without the super shoes. His group also has the burrito cloud over it too. But 26:50s is still a superb time and should be celebrated.
Kennedy wasn't a full minute faster than runners before him. Nenow had already run 27:20 before Kennedy was around. And the WR at that time was under 27:00. Kennedy was only 23 seconds faster than Pre in the 5,000. And I'd bet the spikes Kennedy was wearing at the time weren't that much different than what Pre was wearing (spike plate, with rubber, foam, and a nylon upper - am I missing something?) back in the early 70s. What revolutionary spike did Nike invent (prior to cheat spikes) that increased times across the board dramatically? I've done the research. Go back and look at indoor US men's 5,000 times for the past 11 years and they average the exact same every year until cheat shoes arrived in 2020.
Kennedy achieved results based off hard work and talent. If the current crop of distance talent doesn't forever want to have an asterisk by their names they can ditch the shoes. If the shoes don't make a difference they should have no issue. Truth is, none of them will. Pro runners are wearing cheat shoes 100% across the boards.
That was a great run but if you were stunned by it (and over 60% of the people on the homepage said he wouldn't break the AR), then that means you haven't joined our Supporters Club yet as on our Friday 15 bonus podcast, I had an ephinany and it became clear that Fisher would get the record tonight. And he did.
I admit to being in the stunned club; I don't see how anyone could have been confident he would run that fast. Especially considering 10Ks are notoriously bad for not living up to the hype.

"As earlyer in the week we were to flipp a coin, and over 50% of you said it would be heads, as I have an epiphany it would be tales. ANd it was tails. Join supporters club to here me talk."

well done. Good overuse of the word "as" (seriously, what is it with Rojo and the word "as"?), nice typos, including, and nice illogical rambling

Rojo, you have a net negative of 73 downvotes for your post. What do you think this means about what you post?
I'm proud of it. "Make a boring sport interesting one day at a time," is one of our key jobs at LetsRun (the other is to surf the internet and find the links you need to be able to be a fan so you don't have to waste hours a day - we save you time)
I had a thought that was interesting enough to get thousands of people to click on it and am laughing all the way to the bank. Everything I said in that video was spot on logically and was proven to be correct.
I do find the down votes and upvotes to be interesting. Sometimes there will be a thought that I think no one could disagree with it and yet it will only be 50-50.
I let Gault know back on February 18th that an American record attempt was going to happen. It had been planned for a long time. I confirmed and let Weldon know on February 24th. It’s not like it was an outrageous prediction.

Rojo, couple of notes. I dare you to not delete them, but your skin is too thin for that:
(1) you sound like Greg
(2) you’re proud that a majority of the people that visit the site don’t like you? That’s because you are a child. You shouldn’t be proud of that. You should be ashamed
(3) you don’t make the sport more interesting. You make the sport stupider. You’re interesting in the way watching a dog eat sh*t is interesting
(4) also, you think running is boring? Then why should I listen to anything you say?
(5) you’re laughing all the way to the bank because you’re a trust fund kid, not becuase of anything you do. IF the site is successful (doubtful) it’s IN SPITE of you not becuase of you.
(6) if you do actually make money from advertisements (doubtful), thanks for letting us know how we can pressure you
(7) thousands of people clicking on your posts means NOTHING . It does not mean we agree with anything you say or that we respect you
(8) do you seriously believe what you wrote, and if you do, do you think what you wrote, in any way, shape, or form, makes you good at what you do or a good person? Hint: it doesn’t

I think half of the people agree with "it" and the other half just down vote because you wrote it regardless of their opinions on said thought
Is anyone considering the possibility that Fisher's performances are too good to be true? We were duped by Houlihan's epic season, I'm gonna wait and see on this.
