She obviously has a world class cardiovascular system. Trains like a beast. My guess is that she could approach sub 32:00 at her first attempt. Would love to see her give it a go.
Jessie is an aerobic beast. But 32:00 in her first attempt is a little fast. I’d say she could run 33:00 with potential for 32:00 after a year of specific training.
Don't know about Jessie, but Rosie Brennan ran pretty fast in a road race after the 2018 Olympics without training for it. 27:31 for 5 miles, breaking a course record set by Olympic marathoner Christine Clark. Diggins does do a lot of trail running.
There is a race in Alaska called the Arctic Valley Run. It's a 12.6 mile run up and down a mountain road, 2500 feet up, 2500 feet down. Race is around 50 years old. The course record was set in 1982 by Jim Galanes in 1:06:44 and hasn't come close to being broken. Galanes was not a runner; he was a cross country skier. Competed in the 1976, 1980, and 1984 Olympics.
Therese Johaug is a triple gold medalist in cross country skiing and runs as a secondary sport. She ran 31:33 for 10K on the track last year, missing the Olympic qualifying time by 8 seconds.

The Arctic Valley Run hasn't been a competitive race in the past quarter century because it's a low-key race run by the Army and not part of the local mountain running circuit (more of a gravel race than mountain race). The good local athletes go to mountain races on the local circuit (Knoya Ridge or Government Peak over the years) or a popular road race (Twilight 12K) on the same weekend. The course is a popular training route though. Galanes' time is good but beatable by current local skiers (on the team once coached by Galanes).
Some world class skiers are naturally good runners and some aren’t. Therese johaug, Anders aukland and sjur rothe are good examples of runner skiers. Others (juha mieto, petter northug, marit bjorgen) are decent runners in the scheme of things but aren’t exceptions.
jessie isn’t a “runner” skier. She gets her speed more from the power side of things. She ran in xc highschool And was good but not exceptional. Don’t get me wrong, she’s a very fast runner but I doubt she’d be able to break 34 mins for a 10k. Look at her run too…she’s a massive heel striker. Also, most of her running is probably rarely faster than 8 min/miles. She runs mostly trails and probably walks most of the uphills to keep her heart rate in check. Not optimal trainingfor fast running times

I am assuming you must know Jessie otherwise I'm not sure how you would know about her training in such detail; 8 min/pace, heel strike; walking up hills. If you do know her, tell her we would love to see what she's got for 10k.
lots of xc skiers do well at sky running - I feel like that would be more up Jesse's alley. Less about form and running efficiency, more about pure aerobic engine. Vertical k would be cool too

Johaug is also a "massive heel striker", but that didn't stop her from running 31:32.

If Johaug (who is built more like a runner) runs 10k at c.a. 31:30, then Jessie would unlikely make it faster than 32:30.
Among other skiers, one of the the best runners is Didrik Toenseth of Norway. In an Oslo XC he was recently quite close to beat one of the Ingebrigtsens (the one with mustache) and he would certain beat if the course was a bit more hilly or dirty.

Can we stop with the heel striker thing? We need a new word for it. Elle Purrier is a "heel striker" Many elite kenyans are heel strikers. It only matters where you strike in your COG. Every kid on my XC team is terrified that hitting their heel in any way means they have to change everything. It only matters if you are a heel reacher! Copyright that. Please refer to 5th ave mile 2018 Purrier vs Simpson for a lesson on disparate running form getting same results.
Oh, and I agree totally some folks transfer seamlessly form XC to running or speed skating to cycling and some dont.

Beth Heiden being a famous example of one who was good at all of the above.
