Rupp, Sisson Bring Olympic Flavor to the USATF 15 km ChampionshipsUSATF ReleaseINDIANAPOLIS, Indiana – Olympians Galen Rupp and Emily Sisson return to the roads Saturday morning at the USATF 15 km Championships presented by T...
I’m not a Rupp fan, but I like that he’s mixing it up and racing another distance.
It’s not an easy course with the bridge, but the rest of the course isn’t bad at all. The early morning temps in FL aren’t terrible at the moment.
Agreed. I'm glad that during the second half of Rupp's career, LetsRun is finally taking him seriously as the runner he is. This tends to happen for elite athletes, for some reason.
The Salazar stuff (and the likely doping) is a huge black mark on his record, but if you set that stuff aside, Rupp is incredibly fast, tough as nails, willing to mix it up, and almost always on his game. The "Rupp-certified" label was always ridiculous. This side of Des Linden, Rupp is one of the very worst runners to apply that label to.
