Exciting race but a little slow? Hoare and Beamish both 3:36. I wonder if they were going for a good race and not worrying about time. Anyone know what Villarreal is up to? Would have been a good race for him to get back out there

idk how Beamish does it time and time again. He did it last year to Engels at Pre, he did it at Millrose, and now he did it here. Is he just a master of timing his kick?
Someone’s getting a cut!
The over/under on how many Cranny laps? 9??
So is the lead pace light set at 30;16 flat? Or it it going to go out slower and then pick it up?
The lightspeed pacing guy told me last year you could have his system negative split it if you wanted.
Who's the blonde in 4th wearing the camoflauge bunhuggers? 😍
Top 4 including Cranny all under Molly Huddle's 30:13 A.R. pace thru 2K.
30:16 is 72.64 per lap, which seems to match up with what the lead pack is currently running.
So would it have killed any for Bowerman to actually release a press release saying, "Hey we are going for the AR at this meet?"
As a Neo-Luddite I’m against this Ligthwave technology that takes away the opportunity for pacers to be compensated and make an honest living.
Setting up real nice for an American record for Cranny tho it's way early. 9:04 @ 3K
....just as I say that Cranny takes the lead with only Dom Scott barely hanging. Solo for Elise from here out. Bummer.
Cranny making a move on the blue lights just 3K in, that's confidence.
Is this a joke? You delay the meet a day. You pay THOUSANDS to get the pacing system there. And you dont hire a rabbit? Why not drop 20k on a top Kenyan? They must be SUPER confident. Wow.
I would have made Courtney rabbit the damn thing. Like seriously. Couldn't she just run faster for like 7 k. Why does she need a 10k?
I'm sorry but could you be any more of a creeper? Yech.
That's a mess-up, but the runners were presumably told the pace they need to hit, could hear the time at the end of each lap, and could see the laps left. If your target is 76-77, then you can figure out what you need to run near the end.
Cranny under AR pace, but now leading from the from with 6k to go... ouch.
Cranny says "I don't need no stink'in pacer!!"
Looks great. Maybe she breaks 30 minutes essentially solo
72 flat laps for 25 laps = 30:00.
If Elise doesn't blow up, possible she dips under 30.
Now 15:04 at 5k . . . incredible solo effort so far.
