I'm in my mid 50's and thought Grant's interview was fantastic. We was articulate, honest, and himself.
It is so refreshing to me to hear that instead of the canned rhetoric we get from most of the professionals. I can almost predict word-for-word what Allison Felix and other stars like her will say, almost as though they have rehearsed it in front of a mirror. I don't dislike them for it, just that it seems phony and insincere to me. Grant did not.
I also noticed in the television coverage just how many hurdlers and those from other events made an effort to congratulate Grant. It appears he is very well liked by everyone. If so, his sincerity and open attitude toward other competitors is probably a big part of that.

He is authentic. He's not trying to barf out canned comments about, "Team USA" or any of that nonsense. He's just talking about his racing, mental challenges, etc.
The Grant Holloway interview was great. I just wish that instead of asking him lame questions about wine, Jonathan had asked him about the possibility of running other events than the hurdle sprints. As we saw at Florida, he has enough talent to be competitive at virtually any event through 400m and obviously 400mH.

The thread was centered around Holloway's performance in the interview and him "telling it like it is," not how great/poor the questions were.
However, I agree with you. He did ask about his start and offered better questions than the usual interviewers which seem to know very little about the sport. Grant being exceptionally good at any event he runs makes yours a solid question, and probably one he would enjoy fielding.

ask him about if the 200mh race versus rai will actually happen
The thing with liberalism is it shames people when they state the "truth that hurts." Society is certain to regress with this reality becoming mainstream.
He must not be in the camp that thinks he's a doping cheat, or maybe he does think he's a doping cheat but doesn't care... Not sure
I get this "clean' thing at the HS/NCAA level. yes yes say your prayers, take your vitamins and be nice......cool, but once $$$$$ enters into anything ya do whatever it takes, just like we all do anyone who says they don't are BSing yes they do.
FACT....if you plan on competing in the sprints on the world $$$$ class level clean........good luck with that.

Ironic that the guy who hates progressives doesn’t want society to regress.
