I think she might be in the shape to do it, but not sure she will do it at this meet. Record pace is 72.xx, world standard is 75. The meet would have to put out two different sets of pacers cause running 72s would destroy that field and ruin the race while 75s would make it very difficult for Cranny to get the record.
Even aiming for a negative split, 75s through 5k is 15:38. That would require a 14:34 last 5000 to break Huddle's record. Her 5000 PR IS 14:33. Negative splits are the way to go, but I think that's too big an ask.
Ideally for Cranny, if she's in shape enough, rope in Stafford to try take you to 5k or as far as can/is willing. Aim for 15:10-15:15 and that requires a 14:55-14:58 which seems much more doable. Let the rest of the field have separate pacers.
