I have great trouble running slow. Even on 20 mile runs I gravitate to a 7:30-7:45 pace. According to Daniels VDOT I should be running easy/long runs in the 8:30 range. Try as I may, my body justs wants to run faster. The result is that I feel I may not be maximizing my endurance base.
Does anyone else have this issue? What can I do to bring more discipline to my pacing?
