Actually this is a reasonable question. With a 1:57.2 PR, if she's just coming back from a significant illness, I'd expect 200 repeats at 29 to be a struggle, especially with short rest intervals. Maybe popping one at 29 shouldn't be too tough, but I suppose it depends on how much time off and deconditioning went on. It still must be frustrating for her to have lost more fitness than she expected for such a long period of time, and I hope she recuperates back to full strength soon.
When I had what I assume was the Alpha variant, I struggled with shortness of breath for three months. Then, over the course of 2-3 weeks, it went away. Hopefully, it will be temporary for her as well.
Yeah I haven't been myself since I got Covid on Christmas. I can still exercise but my resting heart rate is elevated and subjectively it feels harder. I've also had a cough that entire time.
Apparently it's much worse for some people so I'm fortunate.
