new college record I believe
new college record I believe
breaks Cragg's record from '04 I believe, running the last 6 laps solo.
yup 2:33, 5:07, 7:38 unofficially
Haters line up.
But Craig wins that race like 9/10 times.
full results anywhere?
just appeared
Yeah, Cragg was a RACER more than he was a time trialer. Almost unbeatable on the track in NCAA.
Couldn’t beat Torres in NCAA XC though (twice finishing in the next spot- 3rd in 2001 and 2nd in 2002 when Torres won).
Nice result for solo.
My gosh. it is going to be HOcker, Teare, and Nuguse at worlds this year!
How many school records set here ??
Nuguse is known more for his racing than time trialing. Just ask Fisher, Engels, Kiprotich, Hoare, etc.
Is this Boston track short or some sort of trampoline? The times it produces are ridiculously better than what athletes normally run.

It is fast, but 7:38 is right on par with his collegiate 1500 record
Have the super spikes been normalize already?!? Craig runs 6-8 seconds faster in the super spikes in a normal conversion. Maybe 10 seconds if he is a super responder.
Honestly, I don’t think Yared goes under 7:45 in 2018 spikes.

Nuguse would smoke him.
Great run Yared

Most def if it's a sub-3:35 race. Anything slower and Bscomb, Centro, Kessler, Engels or even that lad from Williams could grab a spot.

If Teare does go 1500, I guess he needs to go McSweyn mode and just take it out himself.
This is what an in shape 3:34 guy can look like

Agreed. Wasn’t trying to diminish Nuguse’s performance or ability.
Cragg was just a very savvy tactician when it came to winning NCAA track titles.
RIP: D3 All-American Frank Csorba - who ran 13:56 in March - dead
RENATO can you talk about the preparation of Emile Cairess 2:06
Running for Bowerman Track Club used to be cool now its embarrassing
Hats off to my dad. He just ran a 1:42 Half Marathon and turns 75 in 2 months!
Great interview with Steve Cram - says Jakob has no chance of WRs this year
