Cole Hocker's kick is overrated. 

Hocker did have a massive negative split with 55.67 - 53.54, but I will relinquish he did better last year at the tyson invite where he ran 1:48.44 and split 56.14 and 52.31. Did was almost 2 secs faster than than he was a last years tyson invite

What does an 800m race run as a workout with an intentional negative split have to do with Hockers kick?

Hocker treated it like a prelim while Cooper went all out to finish third. I wonder if they are racing against each other at USA or will they both be doing different events.

His last 200 was over a second faster than anyone else in either heat.

Probably outdoors. Also the dude just ran 3:50 yesterday which is pretty good for someone who isn’t even 21
